Independent drive gearbox

This time we share pictures of a mixer gearbox for rubber industry.

The most interesting characteristic of this gearbox is that it is an independent drive, containing two kinematics in one same gearbox. Thanks to it the speed ratio between the output shafts is not fixed and can be modified depending on the need of the customer or the application.

Another challenging fact about this project is that our customer had dimensional restrictions in its factory which lead us to design a gearbox with such shape!

Last but not least for this project Guibe provided a complete scope of supply including also the input and output couplings, lubrication unit, gearbox and motor base plate and a monitoring system to control all the IO parameters such as temperature, vibration, oil flow…
